The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that InCom Corp filed a suit against Disney today claiming that Disney’s MagicBands illegally use InCom technology. InCom said it developed three patents since 2008 for attendance tracking which the MagicBands infringe upon. Disney responded saying, “the lawsuit is without merit, and we will respond to it in court.”
InCom is seeking Disney to stop using the technology and for unspecified damages.
