Marvel Sued Over Iron Man Armor

Brothers Ben Lai and Ray Lai of Horizon Comics Productions is suing Marvel over depicting Iron Man in a body armor suit. In 2001 the brothers created the comic book Radix. The characters in Radix wear highly detailed, mechanized suits of body armor. Shortly after Radix’s release, the Lai brothers submitted their work in Radix to Marvel, and were hired by Marvel as artists, on account of that work. They claim that the depiction of Iron Man then changed to depict him in a similar type armor. Iron Man was originally created in 1963.

Marvel had no comment on the lawsuit.
