D23 is inviting members to celebrate the holiday season on the Disney Studio lot with activities, shopping, photo opportunities, delicious treats, and a special lighting of the Studio Christmas tree on December 4th, 2015.
Every December, the Disney Studio in Burbank gets a little more magical as the spirit of the holiday season sweeps across the lot with twinkling lights, music, and festive decorations. For the first time, D23 Members and their guests are invited to Light Up the Season on the fabled Studio grounds and celebrate that special Disney time of year with wintertime activities and games, shopping, photo opportunities, and delicious treats—fun for the whole family.
Along with a special lighting of the Disney Studio Christmas Tree, D23 Members will enjoy:
- Christmastime classics inside the historic Studio Theatre
- Several holiday photo opportunities, including Disney character photo spots
- Holiday shopping opportunities at the Studio Store, where Disney authors will be on hand to sign their books*; a Mickey’s of Glendale pop-up shop with unique Walt Disney Imagineering merchandise; and local vendor booths with a variety of crafts and gifts
- Fun holiday games and prizes
- A complimentary cookie and cocoa
- Additional seasonal sweets and savories—including Walt’s Chili!—will be available for purchase inside the Buena Vista Café and outside
- A visit from Santa himself!
- And, of course, some additional ho-ho-holiday surprises!
The experience begins at 6:30 p.m. on December 4th and will end at approximately 8:30 p.m. Parking begins at 6 p.m. Upon exiting the parking structure, you will be provided a wristband and directed to the event.
The cost to attend the event for D23 Gold and Gold Family Members is $20 per person. D23 General Members can attend for $30 per person. Tickets will be available November 2 at 10 a.m. PT on D23.com
