Daniel Gerson, who was a scriptwriter on Monsters Inc. and Big Hero 6 has passed away at the age of 49 following a battle with brain cancer.
In addition to his story work on several Pixar and Disney Animation films, he also voiced Desk Sargent Gerson in Big Hero 6 as well as Needleman and Smitty in Monsters Inc.
He is survived by his wife, two children and parents.
