For years, runDisney has utilized third-party vendor MarathonFoto to capture their events, meaning that runners needed to purchase images of their finish line triumphs from them. Now WDWMagic is reporting that runDisney events will soon be staffed by Disney PhotoPass photographers instead.
According to WDWMagic, the switch will begin with April’s Star Wars Half Marathon — The Dark Side weekend in Walt Disney World. This would mean that Memory Maker packages purchased by runner would include all of their runDisney event photos, which is likely a welcomed changed.
