Deadline is reporting that former Beatle, Paul McCartney has joined the cast of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, the fifth film in the franchise. Reportedly, while the film has finished principal photography, directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg have gone back to add an additional scene featuring the rock-n-roll legend.
Of course, McCartney would be the second rock icon to appear in the franchise as Keith Richards appeared in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides as Captain Jack Sparrow’s father.
The next Pirates film will be released May 26, 2017.
