Mission: SPACE will be closed for refurbishment from June 5 to late July (dates subject to change). Guests will not be able to select this attraction using Disney FastPass+ service during this time.
As Mission: SPACE is made up of several “pods,” it is uncommon for the entire attraction to close at the same time as the individuals units could be refurbished one by one which would reduce capacity but not result in a full attraction closure.
It is unknown why the whole experience will be closed and to what will be accomplished during the refurbishment.
