Ken tossed it over for a video of Sportscenter anchors Hannah Storm and Josh Elliott. They described the impressive variety of sporting competitions athletes can participate in at the ESPN Sports complex.

Celebrating the "true diversity of sports" the location has hosted athletes from ages 6-86, all 50 states, and over 70 countries.

ESPN's Wide World of Sports boasts 2,000,000 guests a year and has hosted over 60 different sports. Ken Potrock talked about the complex's unique opportunity to capitalize on a new tourism trend -- youth sports travel and highlighted the sports complex's support of the growing popularity of female sports programs citing 2009 as the first year the complex had equal numbers of male and female atheletes. He also talked about the value of sports programs for young people. He explained that the recent marathon hosted 55,000 runners and endurance event travel is a continuing trend with 40 countries and all 50 states represented.

But as Ken Potrock went on to explain its proximity to the theme parks, combined with Disney's signature hospitality and entertainment that has propelled the Complex's popularity with atheletes around the world. Sporting events that feature high caliber awards ceremonies or opening ceremonies that are unlike those at other venues thanks to Disney magic.
