Walt Disney World Very Merry Christmas Parade

Dharma & Greg cast stars Susan Sullivan and Mitchell Ryan will co-host the 1999 Walt Disney World Very Merry Christmas Parade, airing December 25 from 8:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. on ABC Television.

Direct from the Walt Disney World Resort, the 17th Annual celebration of the Walt Disney World Very Merry Christmas Parade commemorates the season in true Disney style with fun-filled holiday entertainment and special musical guests that include the Harry Connick Jr., 'NSYNC, 98 Degrees, SHeDAISY and legendary vocalist James Ingram.

Susan Sullivan, whose plays the overly eccentric Kitty Montgomery on Dharma & Greg, will narrate the festivities of the two-hour prime time holiday special along with co-host Mitchell Ryan, who stars as Edward Montgomery in the ABC sitcom. The pair will be joined by comedian Wayne Brady from the ABC series Whose Line Is It Anyway?, who will be on hand to provide on-the-scene coverage from all corners of Walt Disney World.

A prime-time extravaganza, the Walt Disney World Very Merry Christmas Parade includes with parades, performances and previews of new Walt Disney World attractions including the Epcot Millennium extravaganza Tapestry of Nations and the amazing IllumiNations 2000: Reflections of Earth show. Also in store are visits to the Disney-MGM Studios' thrilling Rock 'n Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin attraction with Toy Story's heroes themselves - Buzz and Woody

Performances

  • At Disney's Animal Kingdom, 98 Degrees will perform their hit ballad I Do (Cherish You) and their new holiday song This Gift before a live audience - then evade teen fans on a wild chase through the park
  • At the Disney-MGM Studios, Harry Connick Jr. will perform Sleigh Ride and Come By Me against the background of New York Street and the famed Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights
  • As part of the 15-month Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration, 'NSYNC will visit the various new attractions at Epcot including Tapestry of Nations, IllumiNations 2000: Reflections of Earth, Millennium Village and the reinvented Innoventions, where they will also perform their hit song God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You' and the festive song Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays
  • At the Magic Kingdom, viewers will be enlightened by the spectacular Main Street Electrical Parade including a special performance by James Ingram of Cinderella's So This Is Love
  • Also at the Magic Kingdom along the country trio SHeDAISY will be performing their emotional single This Woman Needs and a signature version of Deck the Halls at the Diamond Horsehoe stage
  • At Downtown Disney, Wayne Brady welcomes a rare appearance by the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil troupe direct from their remarkable new production La Nouba
  • On board the fantastic cruise ship, the Disney Magic will be an amusing Jingle Bells sing-a-long
  • All through the holiday celebration event is the traditional Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade, featuring everyone's favorite Disney characters as they parade and perform down Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom.
