Hispanic viewers across the nation will get to spend Christmas morning with Mickey, Minnie and the rest of the Disney characters as Univision takes them to Orlando, Florida, for special Spanish-language coverage of the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade. Desfile de Navidad Disney 1999, part of Univision's millennium specials lineup, will air on the network on Saturday, December 25, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., ET (check local listings for the time in your area).
All the color, splendor and fun of Disney's traditional Christmas Day parade come to life in this special broadcast hosted by Control's Lesley Ann Machado. And this year, the wonderful Millennium Celebration taking place throughout Walt Disney World will add extra excitement to an already impressive display of holiday cheer.
In addition to covering the actual parade, Desfile de Navidad Disney 1999 will take viewers on a tour of Disney's four theme parks, plus feature musical performances by special guests such as "merengue" star Gisselle, ballad singers Los Trios, and the Mariachi Cobre orchestra,
This special is an original production exclusive to Univision Network, the leading Spanish-language television broadcast company in the United States.
