2003 Scene Completer: Maid Marian / "Devoted
Damsel" (Release Date: 2/03)
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Walt Disney's animated feature "Robin
Hood" (1973), the Walt Disney Classics Collection will debut its first-ever sculpture
scene derived from the film. This "scene completer" created exclusively for
Society members only, depicts the lovely Maid Marian as she reacts to a proposal of
marriage from her true love Robin Hood. "Devoted Damsel" (6" high) is the
fifth "scene completer" sculpture to be released since this Society exclusive
offering premiered in 1999. Crafted by sculptor Dusty Horner, the sculpture is
"plussed" with a real gemstone necklace and features a suggested retail price of
$99 (US) / $156 (CAN).

Disney Villains Series: "Accompaniment to
Betrayal" (Release Date: 5/03)
The popular "Disney Villains" series enters its seventh year with a salute to
the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney's beloved animated feature "Peter Pan"
(1953). In a sculpture entitled "Accompaniment to Betrayal," Captain Hook
(7" high) tries to persuade Tinker Bell (5 - ¾" high) to disclose the hiding
place of Peter Pan. Crafted by popular Disney sculptor Bruce Lau, the sculpture features
such "plussing" elements as Hook's metal hook and mustache, pewter finials and
metal legs on the harpsichord (7" high), a miniature bronze Tinker Bell and a pewter
spigot on the barrel. The sculpture has a suggested retail price of $399 (US) / $630
(CAN).
