Disney Karaoke Volume 1 and 2

When you think of Disney Animated movies, one can not overlook the many great songs that have inspired so many characters. In fact, some of the most memorable moments in Disney films are those encapsulated in song. Who can forget the magic carpet ride in Aladdin? Who can forget when Simba met Timon and Pumbaa? These moments are forever etched into our minds though songs. In Disney’s latest compilation of classic melodies from their animated motion pictures, they give the audience a chance to become the star.

Disney’s Karaoke Volumes 1 and 2 features many of the beloved classic melodies including Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid, He’s a Tramp from the Lady and the Tramp, Colors of the Wind  from Pocahontas and When You Wish Upon a Star from Pinocchio. Each volume has a nice array of Disney songs that the whole family will enjoy to sing.

The truly nice thing about this collection is that they supplied the songs with vocals so you can learn to sing the songs before they take the words away. This is really helpful for the less known songs like Bella Notte. In essence, Disney has given you two CD’s for the price of one, and countless hours of singing. One disappointment, however, is the songs are not performed by the original artists. But they are well done and very musical.

For years I have wondered when Disney would make available their songs in a sing along format to let the performer stand alone instead of singing with the song itself. Finally, Disney has made this possible. I would recommend this compilation to anyone with small children and to families that are looking to have fun on a trip.  It’s a stand alone CD with a lot of extras! So for the next time you want to sing a Disney tune, just pick up this CD and sing with the grand orchestrations behind you that you deserve !
