Singleton thanked every and spoke on AMC's partnership with Disney which goes back to the mid-80s when AMC opened a theater at Pleasure Island in Walt Disney World. Next was Ikspiari at the Tokyo Disney Resort last spring. He continued, "When we can bring magic of the movies to the magic of Disney with what is probably the most beautiful jewel in our Disney partnership at this theater at the Downtown Disney district, we're quite proud of that." Singleton then introduced the Vice President of Downtown Disney, Lynn Rogers.

Lynn Rogers gave a short speech saying "I just would like to say how thrilled we are that Downtown Disney is open and how thrilled we are that AMC is again part of the Disney family."

Singleton returned to the podium and spoke about the children. "What we do depends on the kids. Actually, what the world does depends on the kids. Every time I say that, as my kids have grown up, I get a little emotional behind my eyes. The kids are the future of our business. The kids are the future of the world. So when we join forces with an outfit to do something responsible for the kids, it makes us quite proud. The fund-raiser for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Foundation fits right in with what we're trying to do." Singleton then introduced Chief Executive Officer of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Foundation, Kate Carr.
Carr thanked Disney and AMC and talked about the work the Foundation does for children by helping to insure they "have the opportunity to lead long, happy and healthy lives."
