Around the Resort

As of March 1st, Dixie Landings is known as Disney's Port Orleans Resort, Riverside. The original Port Orleans is now called Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter. Signs all over the resort have been changed including this one at the entrance.

Other News from Around the Resort

• Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge will have an Open House for all guests to visit the new resort before it's official opening day on March 31 and April 1-2 from 10am to 6pm
• Wildhorse Store at Downtown Disney West Side has closed.
• The Downtown Disney area will host the first in a series of cloisonn� pin events on March 22 called Disney's Pin Celebration Countdown. The event will be centered at the World of Disney, which will host special pin releases and a scavenger hunt for pin collectors. This event is the first of five celebrations, leading toward a four-day event at Epcot August 9-12.  The next event will be held in April at Animal Kingdom.
