On Friday, April 16th Downtown Disney officially welcomed D Street, a new urban-style location that will serve as the flagship for the popular Vinylmation along with a variety of products that reflect cutting-edge styles with familiar Disney characters. In keeping with the location's spirit of creative expression, the opening ceremony began with a blank canvas alongside a life-sized Vinylmation box.

With the beat of Aerosmith's "Walk This Way" filling the air, Rock Demarco "world's fastest painter" added a simple question mark, then proceeded to brush, squirt, and scribble various hues of paint at a feverish pace bringing to life the image of our pal, Mickey Mouse.

Following his amazing artistry, Walt Disney World Ambassador Clay Shoemaker welcomed all to the festivities and introduced Downtown Disney vice president Keith Bradford.

Downtown Disney vice president Keith Bradford discusses the recent success of the Anaheim location and the AP previews of this D Street location. He paid tribute to the cast who joined him on stage acknowledging their role in the success of Vinylmation trading, a focal point of the new store.
