Mambo King Lou Bega has a little help from Mickey and Minnie as he gets "a little bit of Disney" in his life!
Bega's very animated music video for the new Disney-fied version of his Grammy-nominated No. 1 worldwide hit, Mambo No. 5 makes its world debut during the opening trailers in front of Walt Disney Pictures' The Tigger Movie, in theatres Feb. 11.
Disney Mambo No. 5 -- complete with new Disney-themed lyrics for the kids -- will appear on the Walt Disney Records album Radio Disney Jams 2 in stores Feb. 29. The track is already one of Radio Disney's top 10 requested songs after only a few weeks in release.
Bega will also be on hand along with Radio Disney DJs Just Plain Mark & Zippy and Jams 2 recording artist Goldo for the Radio Disney Jams 2 album launch party in Philadelphia, March 4. The party, complete with live performances, will be broadcast live for two hours nationally on Radio Disney. Disney Online will host a live webcast from the event.
In addition to Bega's new Disney phenomenon, Radio Disney Jams 2 includes hits from best-selling teen sensations Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Youngstown, Christina Aguilera, 98 Degrees and Aaron Carter as well as perennial favorites like Boogie Shoes by KC and the Sunshine Band, We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions by Queen, We Are Family by Sister Sledge -- and the hit track Just the Two of Us by mega-star Will Smith.
Radio Disney Jams 2 hot hits for cool kids will be available at a retailer near you on February 29, 2000.
