Graham Hopper Named Sr. VP, Global Toys, for Disney Consumer Products
Graham Hopper has been appointed to senior vice president, Global Toys, at Disney Consumer Products, it was announced today by Andrew Mooney, president of Disney Consumer Products.
In his new role, Hopper will lead the toys category worldwide and develop the overall strategy to drive business growth through consumer segment management, retail channel strategy development and product development management. He will also work with the Walt Disney International organization to develop product strategies for global markets outside the U.S.
"Graham's tenure and international experience at Disney Consumer Products give him a unique and important perspective on the business," Mooney said. "He understands where the toy category has been and has a keen vision of the exciting worldwide possibilities in the future." Hopper, who joined Disney Consumer Products in 1991 in Paris, most recently served as senior vice president of Finance and Business Operations for Global Licensing. In that role he helped drive the establishment of a global business structure and directed the development of an operations and information-technology strategy to support the business.
Hopper graduated from South Africa's University of Cape Town in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in Commerce. He earned an MBA in 1991 from the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business.
