Paul Hausback Named Vice President, Operations, at Disney Interactive

Paul Hausback has been promoted to vice president in charge of operations at Disney Interactive, it was announced today by Jan Smith, president, Disney Interactive.

Hausback is transitioning from his position as controller for Disney Interactive, which he has held since October 1997.

Prior to joining Disney Interactive, Hausback worked in the Group Finance division of Disney Consumer Products, and also served as senior manager, finance, at The Disney Store, North America. He has been with The Walt Disney Co. since May 1996.

Hausback will have full responsibility of all operations functions at Disney Interactive, including business process and controls, manufacturing, information technology, production quality assurance and testing and administration.

``With the tremendous growth Disney Interactive has exhibited during the last two years, it became clear the company required extremely strong and dedicated operational support,'' said Smith.

``The combination of Paul's expertise both in operations and controllership will help ensure our business's rapid growth and evolution.''

Disney Interactive, part of the Disney Consumer Products division of The Walt Disney Co., develops, markets and globally distributes a wide variety of interactive entertainment, educational and sports CD-ROMs and video games.
