Cirque du Soleil to Hold Auditions in Orlando April 3, 2001
Cirque du Soleil, the internationally acclaimed producers of La Nouba at Downtown Disney West Side in the Walt Disney World Resort®, will be conducting auditions in Orlando on Tuesday, April 3, 2001.
Cirque du Soleil is constantly scouting the world for new artistic and acrobatic talents, and auditions have become essential in this recruiting process. The total cast that passed an audition represents 80% of the 500+ artists performing in a Cirque du Soleil show. 60% of them have an athletic background.
This year, Cirque du Soleil is looking for artistic and rhythmic gymnasts, acrosports athletes, trampolinists & tumblers, divers, synchronized swimmers and circus artists. These auditions are intended for those who dream of becoming a part of the Cirque du Soleil unique experience, to pursue new challenges and push back the limits of the possible.
