'Disney's Pepper Ann' Helps Clean Up the Planet in Celebration of Earth Day; Special Episode Airs Sunday, April 22 on UPN and in Syndication
Pepper Ann overcomes her stage fright in order to help clean up Lupkin Park in a special Earth Day episode of "Disney's Pepper Ann" entitled "Environ-Mentals" airing on Sunday, April 22 on UPN and in syndication (check local listings).
Pepper Ann loves performing with her family ... as long as no one else on earth finds out. So when her mom signs up the Pearson Family Singers to perform a whole choreographed routine at Hazelnut's annual "Clean Up Lupkin Park" celebration, Pepper Ann is forced to confront her fears of performing in front of an audience.
"Disney's Pepper Ann" offers the inside scoop on life as a 'tween. Naturally quirky and proud of it, Pepper Ann faces the twists and turns of adolescence with often-humorous results. A strong female character, she is her own best friend and her own worst enemy; her alter ego is never short on opinions and her imagination frequently runs wild. "Pepper Ann" provides kids with a great role model they can relate to: a 12-year-old girl who is real.
"Disney's Pepper Ann" is produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. Sue Rose is Creator/Executive Producer and Nahnatchka Khan is Producer.
