Susan Lucci (“All My Children”) will headline an outstanding lineup of more than 30 stars from the ABC Daytime dramas at the sixth annual “ABC Super Soap Weekend,” to be held Nov. 3-4, 2001, at the Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World Resort. ABC Daytime once again will partner with Colgate Total Toothpaste as its presenting sponsor of the event.

“We are thrilled with the unqualified success of Super Soap Weekend, the biggest fan event of its kind,” said Angela Shapiro, president, ABC Daytime. “The weekend has become the country’s preeminent daytime fan event and we are proud that it continues to grow bigger and better for our loyal viewers.”

Throughout the weekend, fans will have the opportunity to meet favorite stars from all four ABC Daytime dramas: “All My Children,” “General Hospital,” “One Life to Live” and “Port Charles.” Festivities include celebrity motorcades, autograph sessions, celebrity game shows, star conversations and the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind memorabilia from each of the shows. The star-studded event also features live musical performances by soap stars and surprise guests.

A special ABC Super Soap Weekend Vacation package is also being offered and includes accommodations at a select Disney resort, theme park admission and a commemorative ABC Super Soap Weekend photo album.
