Kodak Canada and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Team-up for Three In-store Promotions

More than two dozen lucky Kodak customers will be on their way to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida after winning the first of three promotions created by Kodak Canada and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts in honour of the entertainment giant's 100 Years of Magic celebration.

The 25 winners from the first promotion were chosen by random draw from ballots entered at participating Kodak Image Check System Member Stores. Each winner receives a trip for four to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The first in-store promotion ran from February 28th to April 30th, 2002, with the draw occurring May 21st.

The second in-store promotion runs from May 15th to July 15th, where participating Kodak Image Check System Member Stores will hold draws for Kodak digital cameras, including the new Kodak EasyShare DX3215. In conjunction with this promotion, a Passport to Savings booklet is offered with discount coupons on the purchase of participating Kodak digital products and $100 can be saved when customers purchase a Walt Disney World Resort in Florida vacation through Holiday House, a Walt Disney Parks & Resorts travel partner.

A 100 Years of Magic Keepsake photo album is the focus of the third promotion, running from August 1st to September 30th. Customers become eligible for the keepsake photo album when they purchase $50.00 worth of products or services at participating Kodak Image Check System Member Stores. Proof of purchase, plus postage and handling, are required for redemption.

There are more than 280 Kodak Image Check System Members across Canada, the largest association of photo specialty retailers in Canada. The Kodak Image Check System program has operated since 1986. The Kodak Image Check System program provides participating independently owned photo retail stores with comprehensive strategies and activities designed to improve their businesses. This includes the use of Kodak colors and trademarks as well as a variety of merchandising, promotion and photographic marketing programs developed by Kodak Canada Inc.
