Kim's back! Once again, it's time for game fans to find out that anything is possible when Kim Possible is involved! Disney Interactive, a publishing label of Buena Vista Games, Inc., today announced that Disney's Kim Possible 2: Drakken's Demise for Nintendo Game Boy® Advance is now available at retail stores nationwide. Based on Disney Channel's hit animated television series "Disney's Kim Possible," the new title lets girls and boys join the heroine's action-packed world as they relive four episodes of the popular program, leading Kim Possible into hair-raising adventures as they battle crime and capture evil foes, including Dr. Drakken. All along the way, players will meet up with favorite characters from the show, such as Ron Stoppable, Rufus and Wade.
Disney's Kim Possible 2: Drakken's Demise, the follow-up to Disney Interactive's successful Disney's Kim Possible: Revenge of Monkey Fist, the first title in the game franchise, brings the clever crime fighter back to the video game arena with all new gadgets and acrobatic abilities for players to master as they move through four unique adventures. In addition, the game incorporates an innovative shadow training mode that enables kids to learn the game play necessary to complete each mission by "shadowing" Kim's moves.
Filled with 16 levels of gameplay, Kim Possible 2: Drakken's Demise lets kids experience the thrill of being a teen hero as they lead Kim into four missions, each based on an episode from the series, where they aim to capture the bad guys, including Dr. Drakken, Shego, Duff Killigan, Gemini and Falsetto Jones. Kim must harness the use of a variety of original gadgets, including the Grappling Hook, a Glue Bomb, Hot Sauce, a Stealth Suit and a Hand Mirror, to subdue her enemies. Players also use tricky acrobatic abilities, which they can learn through the use of the exclusive shadow training mode, to outmaneuver opponents as they move through each level. As players acquire new gadgets and abilities, they can also go back to previous levels in order to access areas that were previously unreachable.
"Disney Interactive's premiere title in the Kim Possible franchise proved to be a favorite among kids for its fun, action-packed gameplay," said Dana Long, director of marketing for Buena Vista Games. "Now, Kim returns in Kim Possible 2: Drakken's Demise, an all-new adventure with more of the same fast-paced sequences and plenty of cool moves, gadgets and gear to fight the villains, all the while enabling kids to further interact with their favorite friends from the hit TV series."
"Kim Possible" the series airs daily (5:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel and Saturday (12:00 noon, ET/11:00 a.m., PT) on the ABC Television Network's "ABC Kids."
