Cinderellabration: Lights of Romance
Monday, January 17 through Friday, March 18, 2005
“Cinderellabration: Lights of Romance,�? a
spectacular nighttime entertainment program will be presented at Tokyo
Disneyland Park beginning Monday, January 17 and will continue through Friday,
March 18, 2005. This program picks up the story of Cinderella after the royal
wedding depicted in the classic Disney animated feature, Cinderella, and brings
to life the coronation of Cinderella and the festive celebration of the
occasion.
During “Cinderellabration: Lights of Romance,�? the Plaza in front of Cinderella
Castle will be transformed into the Cinderella Castle Garden with a central
fountain surrounded by colorful flowers and crystal sculptures depicting
memorable scenes from Disney’s Cinderella. At sunset a brilliant fanfare marks
the start of the “Festival�? celebrating “Cinderella’s Royal Coronation.�? As
music from Disney’s Cinderella fills the air, the 200,000 sparkling lights
illuminating the arches over the Garden pathways add color and movement to the
Garden. Guests can stroll through the Garden and enjoy entertainment provided by
a Fortune Teller, a comical Shoe Merchant with a glass slipper, fanciful sprites
and unicorns, and various other street performers. The Festival continues
throughout the evening from sunset until the Park closes so guests may fully
enjoy the sparkling and romantic “Cinderellabration: Lights of Romance.�?

In the “Cinderella’s Royal
Coronation�? portion of program, guests can witness the crowning of Cinderella by
the king. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and other Disney characters make an
appearance to wish Cinderella and Prince Charming happiness. At the end of the
ceremony, the happy couple board the Royal Coach and make a grand circuit around
the Cinderella Castle Garden to greet their well-wishers. “Cinderella’s Royal
Coronation is presented twice each evening at the Castle Forecourt Stage.
During this period, special merchandise featuring “Cinderellabration�? designs
will be available at the Grand Emporium and other shops.
NOTES:
• Central Viewing Area admission tickets for “Cinderella’s Royal Coronation�? are
available through a lottery held at a facility located between the Baby Center
and Star Tours.
• “Cinderellabration�? entertainment and lighting will be suspended during the
Park’s fireworks show.
• “Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights�? will not be presented during
this period.
• Shows are subject to change or cancellation due to inclement weather.
