Tokyo Disneyland Special Event
“Disney Princess Days?
January 17 – April 4, 2005
From January 17 through April 4,
2005, Tokyo Disneyland Park will present “Disney Princess Days,? a special event
in which Minnie Mouse is transformed into a charming princess and throws a
gorgeous garden party for the Disney princesses and guests.
The 40 minute performance features “Disney Princess Procession ‘A Bouquet of
Love,’? starring Princess Minnie and the Disney Princesses. The procession
features Minnie Mouse hosting a garden party, to which she invites several of
the Disney princesses and other characters. The princesses appear aboard
magnificent floats decorated with a variety of flowers and each themed to the
color and character of its respective princess.
Disney Princess Procession “Bouquet
of Love? can be enjoyed by any guest who has ever wished to be princess. An
opening fanfare signals the beginning of the “Disney Princess Procession.? While
a beautiful waltz is played and a sweet, floral scent fills the air, Minnie and
the Disney princesses make their appearances riding on five beautiful floats.
All the floats will be decorated with a variety of flowers, and each will have
its own distinctive theme.
Leading the procession is Snow White. Since flowers are the symbols of the
procession, Snow White’s float is made to resemble a small stream with flowers
flowing through it instead of water. Also located on the float is the well where
Snow White makes her wish.
Next we find Cinderella aboard a regally appointed float designed to resemble
the pumpkin coach from the classic Disney film. The dazzling float of royal blue
will be overflowing with elegance.
After that Princess Minnie, the host of the party, makes her appearance with
Daisy Duck and Marie. Their cute and colorful float, decorated with a
heart-shaped arch and big ribbons, is perfect for the lovely Princess Minnie and
her friends.
When Aurora appears aboard a “gazebo-style? float decorated with flowers, the
area becomes filled with her purity and love of nature. Fountains on the float
change between the colors of Flora, Fauna and Merryweather, the three fairies
who watch over the princess. Swans can also be seen on the majestic float.
The final float in the procession is decorated with yellow and green lights, and
features Belle, who greets the guests from her balcony. The center of the float
is decorated with red roses just like those found in Beauty and the Beast,
creating a mood of warm romance.
The procession halts at three locations along the parade route to invite female
guests to join the garden party. Guided by the voice of Cinderella’s fairy
godmother, guests learn things that are expected of princesses, like how to
curtsy. As the scent of flowers fills the air, everyone dances elegantly to
songs sung by the Disney princesses, such as “Some Day My Prince Will Come? and
“So This Is Love.?
The Disney princesses will also be appearing at the Plaza Terrace, where they
will perform an elegant dance accompanied by musicians. Little girls can take
this opportunity to learn the dance from Disney Princess Procession with their
favorite princesses.
Photo locations featuring Princess Minnie and Daisy Duck in cute costumes will
be set up in the Plaza Terrace for taking commemorative pictures, and special
menus and merchandise themed to the event will be available at the Park’s shops
and restaurants.
Also during the event period, Disney Ambassador Hotel will offer special menus
and feature the “‘Be a Princess’ Evening? program. Girls grade school age or
younger participating in this program can enjoy a commemorative photo session
and an elegant dinner with their family, for which they will be made up and
dressed in charming costumes, just like a real princess.
Note: Shows are subject to change or cancellation due to inclement weather, etc.

In conjunction with the special event “Disney Princess Days,? the Park’s shops
