"Mouse Tales" Author at Studio Chapter Meeting, May 15th
The Studio Chapter celebrates the
50th anniversary of Disneyland by welcoming “Mouse Tales�? author David Koenig to
The Studio Chapter's next meeting on Sunday, May 15th.
May 5th is the kickoff of “The Happiest Celebration on Earth�?, the worldwide
celebration of the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. In honor of this celebration,
The Studio Chapter has invited David Koenig, author of “Mouse Tales�?, “More
Mouse Tales�?, and “Mouse Under Glass�?, to share a special presentation that will
take us back to see what the Park was like in its first year of operation. David
will also be discussing and signing copies of the golden anniversary special
edition of “Mouse Tales�?, a new edition of his first book featuring new and
revised information about “The Happiest Place on Earth�? and a CD audio tour of
Disneyland circa 1955. In addition to David’s presentation, Chapter member Don
Bitz will be sharing his favorite scenes of Disneyland from episodes of the
Disney anthology TV series, we’ll have refreshments, and we’ll be holding a
raffle for fabulous Disney prizes. Come join us as fun and exciting afternoon as
we celebrate the golden anniversary of the place “where the magic began�?!
The Studio Chapter meets at 1:00 p.m. in the community room of Westfield
Shoppingtown Fashion Square, 13750 Riverside Drive, Sherman Oaks. Westfield
Shoppingtown Fashion Square is located just north of the 101 Freeway at the
Woodman Avenue exit; the community room is the small building at the back of the
parking lot behind Ross Dress for Less at the southwest corner of Riverside
