This is just a quick reminder that the wall-to-wall-full-tilt-shopping-extravaganza that is the NFFC’s Worlds Largest Strictly Disneyana Show and Sale is near – on Sunday, January 15, 2006 – in the Mazatlan Ballroom of the spacious Crowne Plaza Resort Hotel in Garden Grove, California (about 1½-miles South of the Disneyland Resort on the Southwest corner of Harbor Boulevard and Chapman Avenue).

The Show & Sale is the NFFC’s most widely attended event and as the Club is going into its 22nd year, this sale will lead the way. This year’s show will feature nearly 150 tables with more than 100 dealers from across the country and around the world offering tens-of-thousands of new and vintage items. You’ll find tables covered with every imaginable © Disney-themed collectable - old and new. From classic toys to Litho art and PVC action figures to Walt Disney Art Classics pieces - paper and buttons and mini-bean-bag plush and clothing and plates and books and decals and videos and DVDs and music and promotional items and PINS! Something for every Disney collector!

The entry price for the Show & Sale is $5 for NFFC members (with valid NFFC membership card) – $6 for the general public – $5 for Disney Company Cast Members (with valid ID card) and $5 for LaughingPlace.com readers (who print this information and brings it along to the show!!)

The Show & Sale hours are:

9:00am - for NFFC members

11:00am - 5:00pm - for the general public.

The show and sale closes promptly at 5:00pm so come early.

The NFFC’s Hospitality Suite will also be open on Saturday, January 14th – from 6:00pm until 10:00pm – and will serve as Pin Central for the Kick-Off ’06 events. Come on in and meet fellow NFFC members and enjoy some light munchies and beverages with other Disney fans. It’s a great place to play! The room-hopping board will be here – so check it and HOP!

Both Workshops will take place at the Crowne plaza Resort during the hours of The NFFC Show and Sale

Rolly’s Workshop “Using your Creativity and Imagination.�?

He will work with attendees to create illustrations and then give personal advice as to what medium would be best to create the illustrations into third dimensional art. Attendees will receive a sketch book, full day class with personal interaction with a Disney Legend, and create their own take home art piece. Rolly will give a lecture, and show some of the non-Disney pieces he’s done and finish with an active workshop. This Workshop should last about 6 hours and will start at 11:00am and run till about 5:00pm

Rolly’s workshop price is $75.00

Terri’s Workshop “A (Stitch) In Time.�?

Attendees will create the character Stitch out of sock Puppets and discuss voice and character design and basic puppet-eering with a former Disney Imagineer and former Jim Henson Puppeteer. This Workshop should last about 3 hours and will start at 1:00pm and run till about 3:00pm.

Terri’s workshop price is $50.00

Both Workshop include all the supplies you will need to complete the project.
