Hong Kong Disneyland celebrates the ‘Year of the Pig’ with Guests

A festive atmosphere could be felt throughout the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort on the first day of the Year of the Pig. The Park has been receiving encouraging reviews from Guests for its Chinese New Year celebration this year.

Dressed in golden traditional Chinese attire, Bill Ernest, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Executive Vice President and Managing Director, delivered goodwill greetings to Guests in the Park today with help from Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

“Kung Hei Fat Choi! It’s my great pleasure to celebrate the Chinese New Year with our guests,�? Ernest said. “I believe this will be an auspicious year that added with the many efforts of our team, will enable us to continue to bring good business to Hong Kong Disneyland and magical experiences to our guests.�?

“I sincerely hope that all our Guests will have a magical, immersive experience in the Park and I wish everyone have a fruitful and prosperous Year of the Pig!�? Ernest continued.

The Hong Kong Disneyland Chinese New Year Special Day period started yesterday. Guests are reminded that February 17-24 are designated as Special Days. Hong Kong Disneyland encourages Guests who are planning to visit during these days to purchase a Special Day ticket in advance. Special Day Tickets for February 20 to 22 (Tuesday to Thursday) are selling out quickly. Guests who have not yet purchased their tickets should consider visiting on other dates during that week. Park opening hours will be extended during this period from 9 am to 9 pm.
