The Second Season of Disney Channel's Hit Series "Hannah Montana" Kicks Off With a Week of New Episodes Beginning Monday, April 23

Disney Channel's second season of the hit series "Hannah Montana" kicks off a new season and its new seven day a week schedule with a weeklong event -- five new episodes including one guest starring Brooke Shields -- on MONDAY, APRIL 23 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT). New episodes will premiere Fridays at 7:00 p.m., ET/PT. Encore performances will be presented Monday- Thursday at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT. In addition, two new music videos of songs performed by Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana will premiere in April exclusively on Disney Channel. The video for "Nobody's Perfect" debuts FRIDAY, APRIL 6 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) and "Make Some Noise" debuts FRIDAY, APRIL 13 (7:55 p.m., ET/PT).

In the new season of the series, Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) and her best friends Lilly (Emily Osment) and Oliver (Mitchel Musso) start their freshman year at Seaview High School. Miley must now juggle the pressures of a new school along with her double life as the world famous pop star, Hannah Montana. Along for the fun are Miley's brother Jackson (Jason Earles), still up to his old antics, but now with competition from the scheming Rico (Moises Arias), whose dad owns the beach shack where Jackson works, and Robby (Billy Ray Cyrus), Miley's adoring dad who's still trying to keep her out of trouble.

The following is the schedule of new episodes:

Monday, April 23 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) "Me and Rico Down by the School Yard" -- Miley and Lilly are excited for their first day at Seaview High School, until Miley receives a text from someone who "knows her secret." Upon discovering that the person is Rico, Miley must do whatever it takes to keep him from telling her secret – even if that means pretending to be his girlfriend.

Tuesday, April 24 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) "Cuffs Will Keep Us Together" – Miley and Lilly have a falling out when Lilly fails to pick Miley for her flag football team at school. In an effort to get the two to reconcile, Oliver handcuffs them together and then accidentally loses the key.

Wednesday, April 25 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) "You Are So Sue-Able To Me" -- Miley persuades Lilly to get a complete make-over in preparation for her first date to the school dance, but when the boy stands her up, Miley convinces Lilly to take him to Teen Court.

Thursday, April 26 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) "Get Down Study-udy-udy" -- Miley's chances of going on her European Tour as Hannah are in jeopardy when her grade in science slips. To pass the midterm, she creates a song and dance routine that inspires the class.

Friday, April 27 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) "I Am Hannah, Hear Me Croak" -- When Miley wakes up without a voice she learns that she must undergo a surgical throat procedure in order to preserve her Hannah career. In a dream before the surgery she is visited by her mother (played by guest star Brooke Shields) who reassures her that she will get through it with her friends and family by her side.
