Star Guest Program Officially Rocks Hong Kong Disneyland
(March 6, 2009) At exactly ten-thirty this morning, the entire Cast of Hong Kong Disneyland welcomed the Star Guest Program’s very first batch of Guests and their VIPs, marking the beginning of unlimited appreciation fun at the Resort. With the launch of the Resort’s newest campaign, everyone is encouraged to ask themselves the all important question – Who are the Very Important People, VIPs – in my life?
Running from March 6 to May 31, 2009, Hong Kong Disneyland is set to help Guests appreciate those extraordinary people in their lives.
The entire Resort will have unexpected surprises waiting for Guests’ VIPs, to make them the center of attention for the day. For all Guests sporting a complimentary Star Guest Badge – available at City Hall on a first come first served basis – every square inch of the Resort will be filled with magical surprises. VIPs may be selected as the day’s Star Guest Grand Marshall to lead Disney On Parade, or as a skipper during the Jungle River Cruise. Whether playing on Main Street U.S.A. or in Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Adventureland or visiting the two Disney themed hotels, Guests and their VIP(s) will be immersed in hundreds of magical experiences created by the Resort’s Cast Members.
Making it easy for Guests to create lasting memories for their VIPs, additional special experiences such as the Star Pass, Star Finale and Star Tour will also be available and can be purchased through the Hong Kong Disneyland Reservation Center beginning now.
Guests can book a personalized tour of the Park with an exclusive meet-and-greet with two Disney Characters in the Star Tour; or give their VIP(s) priority entrance and seating privileges with the Star Pass; or watch the spectacular fireworks with their VIP(s) during the Star Finale at the Main Street Station, Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad. Most importantly, each and every second will be filled with dazzling magic and heart-warming moments with the Resort’s dedicated Cast Members.
Hong Kong Disneyland’s enthusiastic Cast Members play a key role in creating these unique experiences for Guests each time they visit the Resort; and during this campaign, Guests are invited to participate in the first-ever recognition campaign for Cast Members. When Guests pick up a Star Guest Badge(s) at City Hall, two Star Cast Recognition Cards will also be attached. To show their appreciation of a certain Cast Member for their extraordinary service, Guests can simply give the respective Cast Member a Star Cast Recognition Card. This recognition will create a deeper relationship between Guests and Cast Members.
In addition, Hong Kong Disneyland has launched a variety of Disney Vacation Packages to fully immerse Guests in the Star Experiences. Guests can enjoy an array of hotel and shopping, food and beverage, ticket or spa offers at special prices. These special promotions are valid until April 30, 2009. Guests can also surprise their beloved friends and family by purchasing a selected Annual Pass, where they can bring their VIP to the Park for free before June 2, 2009!
