Hannah Montana the Movie Soundtrack to Premiere on Radio Disney March 21

(March 18, 2009) Radio Disney, the #1 radio network for kids and families, will present the world†premiere of the entire music soundtrack from Walt Disney Pictures' "Hannah Montana The Movie" on SATURDAY, MARCH 21 (7:00 p.m., ET/4:00 p.m., PT) during its Planet Premiere feature. The soundtrack will be replayed on SUNDAY, MARCH 22 (1:00 p.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT).

 

Throughout the broadcast, Radio Disney's Jake Whetter will speak to the movie's star, Miley Cyrus, about her experiences in filming "Hannah Montana The Movie," as well as play songs from the film. The single "Let's Do This," performed by Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana, currently ranks #1 on Radio Disney's Top 30 Countdown; "Let's Get Crazy," also performed by Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana, ranks #8; "The Climb" ranks #11 and "Hoedown Throwdown" ranks #14, both performed by Miley Cyrus. Additional featured artists on the album include Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Billy Ray Cyrus and Steve Rushton. The soundtrack will be in stores Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from Walt Disney Records.

Walt Disney Pictures' "Hannah Montana The Movie" takes the Disney Channel phenomenon to the big screen in a feature film extravaganza. Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) struggles to juggle school, friends and her secret pop-star persona; when Hannah Montana's soaring popularity threatens to take over her life – she just might let it. So her father (Billy Ray Cyrus) takes the teen home to Crowley Corners, Tennessee, for a dose of reality, kicking off an adventure filled with the kind of fun, laughter and romance even Hannah Montana couldn't imagine. The film†opens in theatres April 10.
