AdventuresbyDisney.com Named 2009 'Best Travel Website' in Internet Advertising Competition Awards

(April 29, 2009) Adventures by Disney (AdventuresbyDisney.com), provider of high-end family travel experiences, was awarded Best Travel Website by the Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards. The IAC Awards, produced by the Web Marketing Association, recognize excellence in online advertising and those responsible for the best in Internet marketing. The Best Travel Website award is given to travel industry sites that exemplify creativity, innovation, design, memorability and impact. The new website was created by a dedicated Adventures by Disney web team at WDPRO ( Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Online).

Using a newly created Trip Selector tool, the new website clearly guides travelers through destinations across six continents to make navigating our website as easy as Adventures by Disney makes navigating the world. New featured videos capture breathtaking footage from actual vacations and for the youngest travelers, online activities such as itinerary specific games, trivia, photos and coloring maps help familiarize them with each destination, while also teaching them about the world. Many of the website enhancements support Adventures by Disney's environmentally conscious focus. The site offers Guests the opportunity to mitigate the carbon footprints created by their air travel to and from each destination. Travelers can also download the enhanced trip itineraries or print select pages of the E-brochure. Phase 2.0 of the redesign will coincide with the launch of Adventures by Disney's 2010 season in August 2009.
