Powered by Sunday’s “Night of Premieres,” featuring all-new episodes of hit original series “Hannah Montana,” “JONAS” and “Sonny With A Chance,” Disney Channel ranked as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day in Tweens 9-14 (436,000/1.8 rating - tie), marking its fifth time in six weeks at the top of the charts, and up by a substantial 14% year to year (382,000, week of 5/12/08).
In Prime, Disney Channel extended its winning streak as cable’s No. 1 network in Prime to 215 consecutive weeks in Kids 6-11 (856,000/3.5 rating) and to 211 weeks in Tweens 9-14 (735,000/3.0 rating), climbing by a solid 10% (777,000) and by 14% (643,000), respectively, versus the same week last year (week of 5/12/08).
“Night of Premieres” (Sunday, 5/17/09, 7:30-9:00 p.m.)
With Sunday’s “Night of Premieres” (7:30 – 9:00 p.m.), Disney Channel stood as TV’s No. 1 network in the time period among Kids 6-11 (1.4 million/5.8 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.4 million/5.6 rating), and cable’s No. 1 network with entertainment programming in Total Viewers (3.4 million). In key kids, Disney Channel dominated the competition in the daypart, overshadowing runner-up Nickelodeon, by 17% in Kids 6-11 (1.4 million vs. 1.2 million) and by 48% in Tweens 9-14 (1.4 million vs. 948,000).

At 7:30 p.m., “Hannah Montana” was the No. 1 TV program among Tweens 9-14 (1.2 million/4.8 rating) by wide margins, topping Nickelodeon by 23% (978,000), and tied for No. 1 in Kids 6-11 (1.3 million).
For the week, “Hannah Montana” was TV’s fifth-ranked series telecast among Girls 6-11 (896,000/7.5 rating), and placed No. 4 overall in Tween Girls (861,000 /7.2 rating).

At 8:30 p.m., “Sonny With A Chance” stood as TV’s No. 1 program in Kids 6-11 (1.6 million/6.4 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.5 million/6.2 rating), and cable’s No. 1 entertainment program in Total Viewers (3.5 million).
Additionally, among the week’s TV shows, “Sonny With A Chance” ranked No. 1 among Girls 6-11 (1.2 million/9.9 rating) and Tweens Girls (1.2 million/9.7 rating).
“JONAS" (Saturday, 5/16/09, 8:00 – 8:30 p.m.)
Saturday’s original “JONAS” placed No. 1 among all TV shows in its time period in Girls 6-11 (7.5 rating – tie) and Tween Girls (861,000/7.2 rating).
For the week, “JONAS” ranked No. 4 among all TV telecasts in Tween Girls, and slotted sixth in Girls 6-11.
“Mickey Mouse Clubhouse"
The week’s No. 1 TV telecast in Kids 2-5 (945,000/5.8 rating), Saturday’s “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” (9:30 – 9:55 a.m.) was the show’s most-watched telecast in 6 weeks (since 4/4/09).
Impressively, Saturday’s high marks drove “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” to TV’s No. 1 rank for the week among all TV options in Kids 2-5 (775,000/4.7 rating).
Additionally, Saturday’s outing was also the show’s most-watched telecast in 6 weeks in Total Viewers (2.1 million) - since 4/4/09.

Driven by Thursday’s 8:00 a.m. airing, the show’s most-watched weekday telecast on record in Kids 2-5 (854,000), “Special Agent Oso” recorded its largest weekly weekday audience to date in the target demo, growing by a solid 11% week to week (704,000 vs. 633,000).
Impressively, Thursday’s telecast is Disney Channel’s most-watched weekday 8:00 a.m. telecast in the net’s history in Kids 2-5 (854,000/5.2 rating - dates back to April ‘96), and stood as the show’s second-most-watched telecast to date in the target demo, behind a weekend launch episode (873,000 – 4/4/09).
Competitively, “Special Agent Oso’s” Thursday airing placed No. 6 among all TV telecasts in Kids 2-5 (No. 6 – 5.2 rating - tie), and also finished No. 6 for the week overall (4.2 rating - tie) in the key demo.
Since its premiere six weeks ago, “Special Agent Oso” has reached more than 20 million unique Total Viewers and 5.5 million unique Kid 2-5 viewers.
