Disney Honors Orange County Teacher of the Year Nominee with a Night in the Dream Suite

When Karen Pollack was selected as Brookhurst Junior High School’s Teacher of the Year she never dreamed it would lead to spending a night at Disneyland®. Pollack, a nominee for the 2010 Orange County Teacher of the Year award, was randomly selected from all 60 nominees to win a one-night stay in the Disneyland® Dream Suite.

“My family and I had the most wonderful time and the suite was beautiful,” said Pollack. ”The Dream Suite team was extremely gracious and made us feel very special. It was so great that I don't even think words can describe how amazing our experience was.”

The Orange County Teacher of the Year ceremony and dinner, which took place at the Disneyland® Hotel, celebrated the accomplishments of all Teacher of the Year nominees. Disneyland® Resort recognizes each of the nominees by providing them with a pair of complimentary Disneyland® Resort Park Hopper tickets. The five finalists each received a Mickey Mouse statue and tickets for their entire family.
