Holiday Inn at Walt Disney World Scores Well with Guests

New Orlando Hotel Makes Top 10 List in First 5 Months
Guest Satisfaction Exceeds 95%

Most hotels say they are “the best”. But a consumer can easily see if the numbers behind the boast are reality by checking online to see what other guests are saying. In the case of the new Holiday Inn located in the Walt Disney World® Resort the message is loud and clear on the TripAdvisor web site and the brand’s own independent surveying.

“Our desire to really-truly service our guests is evident in the thought that went into building this resort and in every employee,” said Tony Johnson, regional vice president of operations and general manager of the 323-room hotel which opened in Orlando in February of this year.

In less than 5 months, according to TripAdvisor, the #1 web site for consumer comments, the hotel was ranked among the Top in Orlando.

“As of this morning, we are ranked #10 out of 347 hotels in Orlando,” said Johnson. “Awesome. Perfect. Great Service. Lovely. Those are comments any team would strive to hear, and we are very grateful to our guests for these comments.”

Why does Johnson believe the hotel has rocketed to the top so quickly? “Value counts to every guest and we offer all the amenities of a resort, but no resort fee. Our heated, tropical pool, 24 hour fitness center and transportation to all the Disney theme parks are included in the room rate. So are local and toll-free calls. Our focus is guest comfort so every one of our large, quiet guestrooms has triple sheeting, quality bath products, free coffee, a mini-refrigerator, a large LCD TV and even free DirectTV, ” explained Johnson. Equally enlightening is the result of the monthly in-depth interview that Holiday Inn corporate conducts with members of the brand’s Priority Club Rewards program. Chosen at random, these recent guests rate the hotel in 10 categories, everything from “Your Night’s Sleep” to whether the guest felt valued and respected.

“95.2% of our club members gave us an overall excellent ranking. There is nothing more rewarding to the executive team here than to score so high and so consistently since our opening,” said Johnson.

“We are the new kids on the block but our rooms are every bit as nice, as modern and possibly with more amenities than any other property in the area. Our goal? To be the best possible, each and every day.”

The Priority Club Rewards program is the largest rewards program in the country with 45 million members. It’s free to join at www.priorityclub.com or call 1-888-211-9674.
