Coverage of the DCA event welcoming the Rose Bowl teams to California.

On December 27th an event was held at Disney's California Adventure to welcome the 2003 Rose Bowl teams, the Oklahoma Sooners and the Washington State Cougars - to California. Below are pictures, video and a transcript of the ceremony.

The event opened with Groove 66 performing “I Just Want to Fly”. Groove 66 then introduced the 2002 Disneyland Resort Ambassador Matt Ebeling.

Matt Ebeling: Well I’m honored to help welcome the Washington State Cougars and the Oklahoma Sooners to California. We’re so happy to have them and their fans here at Disney’s California Adventure. We have a lot of excitement in store for you this afternoon but first how about we pause to recognize some very special guests in our audience.

Ladies and gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to the 2003 Tournament of Roses Queen Alexandra Wucetich and her court.
