Disney's California Adventure
Construction
We've only got one new picture of DCA today, a night shot of the
Golden Zephyr. However, a couple of other Disneyland sites have recently posted very good
construction updates:

Refillable Mugs at the Hotels

The Disneyland Hotel and Disneyland Pacific Hotel have begun selling refillable mugs. The refillable coffee mug is $5.95 and the refillable character mug is $6.95. Coffee can be refilled at the lobby bar at the Disneyland Pacific Hotel and at the Coffee House and the Captain's Galley at the Disneyland Hotel. The character mug (shown at left) can be refilled with coffee, tea or soda, but we're not sure of which locations offer refills. |

A new cloisonné pin will be available only on Dec 31st 1999 and January 1st 2000. Quantities are limited to 12300 with approximately 2300 being given to Cast Members working. They will be available at the retail locations park-wide, but not at the hotel. The cost is $6.00. It features Mickey in 1999 with his traditional dress and Mickey in 2000 in black tie ushering in the new millennium.
Redd Rocket's Pizza Port is now serving a character breakfast buffet. The all-you-can-eat buffet includes Italian-type dishes like breakfast pizza as well as traditionals like bacon and eggs. Characters include Goofy, Pluto and Chip 'n' Dale. Prices are $16.99 for adults and $9.99 for children. The buffet will reportedly only run through the holiday season.
FastPass is now available on four attractions, "it's a small world holiday",
Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. FastPass
attractions are marked as such on the Disneyland attraction wait board.
The Plaza Pavilion is now being used as a location
to pick up pictures taken at character greeting locations.
