Bruce was the master of ceremonies - he "interrogated" Ray as though Ray was in the witness stand.

In addition to the popcorn mentioned above, another "friend" of Custodial, confetti, made quite the appearance as the entire room was suddenly blanketed with the stuff at one point during the presentations.

And that presented an opportunity to bring out specially adorned pans and brooms.

Notice that the pans are classic, meaning metal... the kind of pans that quickly sink to the bottom of a murky body of water. Not that I would personally know anything about such matters. There's the Custodial motto, "Nobody Does it Better".
