Hayes launches into damage-control mode following her controversial nationally televised interview, seeking to limit the repercussions within her family and to her mother’s Senate campaign. Meanwhile, the CIU takes on the case of a young man from the wrong side of the tracks, convicted for killing a wealthy woman whose privileged family took him in and treated him as one of their own. And Hayes’ relationship with her family isn’t the only tricky situation when she learns Wallace has hired a surprising person from her past to represent him in a high-stakes government investigation into his work as D.A.

The Goldbergs “Recipe for Death II: Kiss the Cook” (8:00 – 8:30 P.M. EST on ABC)

After learning of Murray’s love of action movies, Adam uses the moment to garner the courage to ask his dad for money to film his own action film.  But the production goes from bad to worse when Barry goes missing for playing the lead, and an unlikely replacement steps in.  Meanwhile, Erica takes Beverly to go clothes shopping.  When a situation at the hip store goes awry, Erica decides to make her own version of the popular outfit she wants –using Beverly’s own sweaters.

Speechless “D-A-T-E- Date?” (8:30 – 9:00 P.M. EDT on ABC)

JJ meets a new girl at school, an injured gymnast, who must learn to adapt to school life in a wheelchair.  JJ shows her the ropes and soon forms a crush.  Elsewhere, Ray saves face by claiming a picture of his own nipple on his phone to be a ”sext” from his ”girlfriend.”  The plan makes him a hero among the boys at school, but backfires after Maya learns the whole story.  Meanwhile, Jimmy teaches Dylan how to properly deal with stress.

Modern Family “Grab It” (9:00 – 9:30 P.M. EDT on ABC)

Jay’s favorite place in the world, and only refuge, may be losing some of its charm when Phil considers becoming a member. At the Dunphy house, Claire mistakes her influence on Alex’s life choices, and Hayley cares too much about what Alex thinks about hers. Meanwhile, when Cam doesn’t give Mitchell the full story on what his play is really about, it really puts Mitchell in the spotlight.

Black-ish “Jack of All Trades” (9:30 – 10:00 P.M. EDT on ABC) 

When Jack and Diane bring home the results of their career tests, Dre and Bow must come to terms with the fact that Jack may have a blue-collar future. Meanwhile, Ruby is convinced Diane is possessed with a little help from Junior and Zoey.

When shots ring out at The White House during a Governors Summit, President Kirkman’s plans at electing a new Congress are thrown into turmoil, while Agent Hannah Wells continues investigating the Capitol bombing and makes one of her most shocking discoveries yet.
