The Voices of Liberty, who recently celebrated their 36th anniversary along with their home park of Epcot, has continually over the years added songs to their sets, be it from the latest Disney Animated Feature or classic folk or Americana songs. Recently they delved into the world of Hollywood and added “This is Me” from the 2017 run-away hit The Greatest Showman — of course with an added Voices touch. Take a look at their performance of the Oscar-nominated song below:
Fun fact: this song was written by the team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who also did music for La La Land. Even more of interest to Disney fans, the duo also worked with legendary composer Alan Menken to pen new tunes for the upcoming live-action version of Aladdin. If that weren’t enough of a Disney connection for you, it should also be noted that, since The Greatest Showman was released by 20th Century Fox, it will soon become part of the Disney canon if all goes to plan on the business front.
