I was well on my way to finishing this column when I was asked to review the DVD "Jim Hill Media Productions Presents Jeff Lange Remembers Disneyland's 35th Anniversary". I finished up the column first, then watched the DVD. That review will in part two of this article on Thursday (click here for more info on the DVD from The LaughingPlace Store.)

As you are well aware, Disneyland Resort is in final months of a 50th Anniversary celebration. Step into the time machine with me and travel back to 1990, when the 35th Anniversary was celebrated.

Wow, things sure are different back here in 1990.

There is no Disneyland Resort. There is no Disneyland Park. What we're going to visit is known simply as "Disneyland". Everyone knows what Disneyland is. Every kid in the world considers the place a kind of Shangri-La. There are two similar parks in existence – the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, and Tokyo Disneyland, but this is the original Disneyland.
