In describing the creation of a character, Mike Surrey first drew a quick sketch of Rosie O'Donnell. He explained that her close set eyes, nose and mouth were part of what helps us identify this sketch as Rosie.

Overlaying a blank sheet of paper over the sketch of Rosie he then drew Terk, illustrating how he incorporated her identifying features into this character.
