The entire 286 seat restaurant is an all you can eat buffet, which, in Japan, are known as viking (Yes, like the guys from Norway). Well, biking, really. There's no "v" sound in Japanese and native speakers have trouble differentiating the "b" sound from "v" sound.).

Biking (there's no plural word forms here either) are one of the things that, in my opinion, make Japan great. :)

We're not talking quantity over quality here. There are fine hotels all over Japan that offer both. (The Prince hotels have some great ones.)

The buffet at Oceano is not an exception. The lunch, dinner, and after park closing buffet (nice idea) offer mainly Mediterranean style seafood. I especially like the breakfast, which has Continental and American classics and traditional Japanese fare.

Like the other great hotel biking, one can expect to pay only between $20 and $25 per person!

Guests can also skip the buffet and order off the menu, but who would want to do that!

Ok, there's great food at a great price, but this is MiraCosta, so you get something more - An absolutely fascinating interior...

It's a thick sheet of plexiglas that's somehow filled with these incredible abstract three dimensional ocean inspired painted designs.
