First and foremost though is the leading lady herself, who is allowed to develop more into the feisty hothead we know and love from the original Peter Pan movie. In fact, it is Tinks short temper that pushes the story forward. I also appreciated the storys theme of forgiveness, making one realize that the lost treasure of the title isnt some magical looking glass, but true friendship itself.

Included among the discs bonus features (which are identical on both the DVD and Blu-ray) is a preview of Tinks next movie, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue (which appears to feature her four gal pals more), a set of silly outtakes and bloopers, seven deleted scenes and a Demi Lovato music video for the end credit song The Gift of a Friend.

Worth exploring is the autumn section of the Magical Guide to Pixie Hollow, as well as a featurette on how the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival brought Tinker Bell and her friends to life through horticulture.

Toon Talk Rating: B
