Actor Peter Brown, known for his role in the Disney live-action film Summer Magic as well as on multiple soap operas, passed away yesterday. He was 80 years old.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Alison Reynolds — a friend of the Brown family — tweeted, “My dear friend, actor Peter Brown died today with his loving wife Kerstin by his side.” Brown was survived his wife, Kerstin, and by two sons, Matthew and Joshua.
Fans may remember him as Tom Hamilton in Summer Magic where he starred alongside Hayley Mills and Burl Ives.
