Disney’s Frozen Breaks House Record in Opening Week on Broadway

Disney’s brand new Broadway musical, Frozen has just broken the house record for its March 22nd—April 1st eight performance opening week with a gross of $2,246,997.50. The record had previously been held by The Producers back in 2004 with an impressive gross of $1,600,243.00. Frozen opened to lukewarm reviews from critics, but seemingly has found a home in the hearts of Disney fans. The show previewed in Denver, Colorado last year and on Broadway starting this February, before it’s opening night on March 22nd. Frozen is now playing at the St. James Theatre.
