Tom Bergeron has announced that he will depart America’s Funniest Home Videos after next season. In a statement the Dancing with the Stars host says, “I’m embracing change this month. DWTS will sure have plenty of it. And I’ve decided that, after 15 wonderful seasons as host of AFV, next year, the show’s 25th anniversary(!!), will be my last. As Doctor Who fans know, every so often a regeneration is a good thing.”
Tom, who also hosts the Disney Legends ceremony at the D23 Expos, has hosted the show since 2001.
