Fans of Amphibia got some news that they were looking forward to as the new premiere date for the highly-anticipated season finale has been announced after an unexpected delay that postponed the episode.

- At the end of last month, Disney Television Animation announced that the season finale of Amphibia that fans were eagerly waiting for would be postponed due to an unexpected delay.
- The season finale, titled “True Colors,” was originally scheduled to debut on May 1st but the original tweet from the studio and network said that a new date and time would be announced later.
- That day has finally come, and Disney Television Animation revealed that the season finale of Amphibia will debut on Saturday, May 22nd at 8:00PM on Disney Channel.
- The tweet revealing the new time also revealed that the episode will be preceded by a 3-hour marathon of the series starting at 5:00PM.
- Followers of the series may recall that the last few episodes have seen Anne and Marcy charging stones to power the music box/calamity box to be able to go back to the human world, but their “friend” Sasha has embedded herself deep within the toad army ready to launch a toad rebellion.
- The delay of the season finale has left many fans on pins and needles knowing that a full scale event is about to occur with many parts of the story that will hopefully come to a crescendo in this episode.
