FX has renewed the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning comedy series Atlanta for a fourth season, according to Deadline.
- Atlanta, which wrapped its season season in May, is created by and stars Donald Glover.
- Production on the series’ previously-announced third season will begin in the spring and the third and fourth season will each consist of eight episodes.
- The series is executive produced by Glover, Paul Simms, Dianne McGunigle, Stephen Glover and Hiro Murai and is produced by FX Productions.
- Through its first two seasons, Atlanta has won five Emmy Awards as well as two Golden Globe Awards, two AFI awards, Peabody, PGA, WGA, TCA, NAACP and Critics’ Choice Awards.
