Internet Roundup – New “Avengers: Endgame” Posters Lead to Memes Because That’s What the Internet Does

Yesterday, with a month to go before the highly-anticipated theatrical release of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios released a series of 32 character posters. These posters certainly got everyone hyped up for the movie, but they also kicked off a new wave of memes because… well, because the internet.

The original posters (seen above) each featured one character with the phrase “Avenge the Fallen.” Of those 32 posters, 16 were in color, indicating the character was still alive, while the other 16 were in black and white, indicating that this character was a victim of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.

I think you can see where the internet is going with this. Fans stepped a bit outside of the events of Avengers: Infinity War to create some additional character posters. Take a look at some of my personal favorites.

Some decided there were other members of the MCU that were left out:

Others decided to take the message to other movies:

Some even decided to ‘Avenge’ some ‘Fallen’ Disney and Universal attractions:

Some decided to jump into the rest of the Marvel Universe:

And of course, some are just confused by this poster with no character on it:

But the best one of all…

Have you seen any other Avengers: Endgame poster memes? Which ones are your favorites?

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters April 26.
